WP2 Tailored carrier/bacteria technology for rehabilitation of areas with pesticide-containing pollution
AQUAREHAB will develop semi-passive-remediation technologies based on “smart” carriers to protect heavily contaminated ground water bodies. This includes developing and testing in the laboratory and field:
- biodegrading biofilms to eliminate pesticides in passing water;
- solutions to mitigate effects of co-pollutants on biodegradation
