WP 7 Development of models to connect technologies to the water management tool

AQUAREHAB will further develop, test and upscale multi-component state-of-the-art reactive transport models for the technologies investigated in WP1 to 5 and will focus on:

• treatment of spatial heterogeneity and temporal variability in riparian zones;
• coupling of biogeochemical processes in wetlands and riparian zones and between the  river bed and groundwater bodies; and,
• upscaling contaminant fluxes and their reduction by the rehabilitation technologies to the field scale.
